After injuring my shoulder in 2025, I wasn't able to weave using basketry materials. What I could do was stitch. So, I created a sampler of various types of stitching using scraps of fabric and embroidery floss. The sampler became a journal where each page represents a monthly observation of nature. The seasonal changes of weather and plants noticed on my daily hikes through the hills of my hometown are captured in this 2025 stitch sampler. (double click on video or images to see them larger)
